Summer in St. Louis can be brutal, but Daisy and Keegan lucked out with a gorgeous, (only slightly swampy) sunny evening in St. Charles! Strolling down Main Street was the perfect way to enjoy a little date night while also documenting the entire adventure. This couple is so freaking cute, and everything we captured in their engagement session was pure gold! Drinks and Toasted Ravioli in St. Charles
Daisy and Keegan’s session began at Tony’s on Main Street, the perfect place for a quick happy hour snack and drink. Of course, toasted ravs were the obvious choice for food for this St. Louis engagement session. We got a cozy, little booth for them to snuggle up together while Keegan enjoyed a beer and Daisy sipped her wine. We also got to spend some time chatting and getting to know each other while waiting for the app to arrive before hitting Main Street for some photos outdoors!
Pro tip: if you’re nervous about having your photo taken, starting with a drink and app is a great way to loosen up, calm your nerves, and get hyped for your photoshoot!
Summer Engagement Photos in St. Charles
The streets of St. Charles were fairly calm on this summer weekday evening, so Daisy and Keegan were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll down Main Street while their camera-wielding third wheel snapped away. I’m always happy to boss my couples around a bit telling them how to pose, but these two were definitely comfortable in front of my camera and needed no instructions to be cute and lovey-dovey together!
