More and more couples are opting for Sunday (and Friday) weddings, which is exactly what Gretl and Nick did for their fall wedding! Missouri has some really great wineries, including Chaumette Vineyards and Winery where the couple held their wedding. The grounds at Chaumette were filled with sunlight, and their beautiful, rustic wedding was filled with beautiful personal touches that made the day perfectly them!
Gretl and Nick got ready separately in their Villa at Chaumette and waited until their ceremony to see each other. They each spent their morning enjoying time with family before laying out their details and dressing to say their vows. Gretl looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and the flowers in her hair really completed her wedding day look.
Their afternoon ceremony took place outside the barn on a hill overlooking the Chaumette vineyards. The sun shone brightly, and there was hardly a cloud in the sky as Gretl and Nick said their vows. It was an absolutely picture-perfect view, and they had a very sweet ceremony delivered by long-time friends. After their first kiss, their guests enjoyed happy hour while we took more photos around the Chaumette grounds.
Gretl and Nick’s reception at the barn was filled with a warm glow from the string lights and crystal chandeliers adorning the ceilings. Each table was decorated with adorable, little teacups filled with succulents, and the couple’s naked cake was to die for! After dinner and toasts, Gretl, Nick, and I took a walk down the gravel road for some more photos of just the two of them before joining the big ol’ dance party happening on the patio. The celebration continued on until the sun set on a beautiful wedding day!
