Tower Grove Engagement Session

I was so excited Katie and Luke could make it from Columbia to shoot their engagement session in St. Louis, and even more ecstatic that they brought their dog Peaches along! Their session began in Tower Grove Park, one of Katie’s favorite parks when growing up in St. Louis. The couple arrived with a very happy Peaches and Katie showed off some fresh green color in her hair which looked AMAAAAAZING! We enjoyed some time together in the park, and then Katie and Luke handed Peaches off to one of Katie’s bridesmaids for some photos of just the two of them. (If you want your dog(s) to be a part of your session, I highly recommend bringing someone along to dogsit or take your dog(s) home!)

As the sun began setting in the park, we moved up the street on Tower Grove Ave outside Nixta, which is gorgeously decorated and made for a very unique photo location. They were, unfortunately, closed, so no tasty food for us. We did, however, get some really great photos that completely fit Katie and Luke’s personalities! We kept snapping all the way through sunset and finished up as twilight hit and the street lights came on. I love how we incorporated their personal style into their session, and their wedding photos kick that up another notch! You HAVE to check out Katie’s shoes, too! They are perfection!
