Laura & Andy’s Backyard Micro Wedding – 9/12/20

Laura and Andy put so much of themselves into their intimate backyard wedding, and it was absolutely wonderful! While Covid may have changed their initial wedding plans, they put together a beautiful wedding day that they were able to enjoy with their closest family and friends!

First Look in the Garden

The day started at Laura and Andy’s home, where they put final decor touches out and got ready to go get hitched! Laura wore a stunning gold sequin dress from House of Wu, while Andy was sharply dressed in his navy Calvin Klein suit. The couple held their first look in their own garden, surrounded by colorful blooms. After sharing this special moment together, they took off for the church to get married.

The Chapel and Rose Garden Ceremony

Laura and Andy had a beautiful chapel ceremony to exchange vows and rings but finalized their ceremony and first kiss in the rose garden of the church. As the couple and their “entourage” made their way outside, they were greeted by Laura’s brother and his girlfriend performing acoustic renditions of “Here Comes the Sun” and “In My Life” by The Beatles.

The Backyard Reception

After family portraits outside the church, everyone made their way back to Laura and Andy’s house to celebrate the rest of the couple’s backyard micro wedding. Laura and Andy (and family) did an amazing job decorating, using flowers from their garden for Laura’s bouquet and table centerpieces. They had an amazing wooden backdrop wall adorned with giant paper flowers and Laura and Andy’s initials. Drinks were served with an assortment of colorful glassware, and everyone toasted to the happy couple!

Soon, things got even more fun when Andy and his father brought out a giant, candy-filled piñata. The kids took turns whacking as hard as they could to get all the delicious, sugary goodness, and Laura and Andy even took their turns, with Andy getting the final swing in to send crepe paper and candy flying everywhere!

Laura and Andy had a wonderful, beautiful wedding, and even though it may not have been the day they initially planned, it was amazing and so perfectly them! Keep scrolling to see more photos from their intimate backyard wedding!
