Intimate Missouri Wedding – Annie & Rob

Annie and Rob had the absolute sweetest intimate wedding! Despite a bit of heat, it was a gorgeous day for an outdoor Missouri wedding in the middle of June. For their ceremony, Annie and Rob chose the perfect spot on a hill overlooking the lake near their house. Under a few large trees, the two exchanged vows they wrote themselves in front of a handful of close family members.

I’ve known this amazing couple for a few years, and I’m deeply honored they selected me to document their day. Hearing the beautiful words they wrote one another got my eyes a little misty behind my camera (it’s really hard to get photos in focus like that!). Their vows were just further proof that this couple is absolutely meant to be together. Their ceremony went from laughter to tears and right back to laughter again; it was the perfect show of their personalities and the bond that they share.

Annie and Rob just radiated love and happiness all day, so they were a candid wedding photographer’s dream! They had such a fun, laid-back wedding that was 100% them, right down to Rob’s flamingo-print lined suit! He wins the Best Suit Ever Award! Annie’s dress was absolutely stunning on her, and her bouquet added the perfect pop of color! Since the weather (mostly) cooperated, this intimate Missouri wedding had nothing but blue skies as everyone cast a fishing line into the lake after the ceremony concluded.

I could go on and on talking about how fantastic these two are, but instead, I’ll just show you how much love and happiness they have for each other! Now, onto the good stuff!
